Where it started...

I started drawing because of my grandfather. I don't remember how old I was maybe 6? He was the first to take me aside and showed me how to draw. I was hooked! I begged my parents to let me take drawing classes in school, and then the museum during the summers during break. I was then labeled the "artistic" one in the family. All through school I kept working on proving myself and entering competitions and trying to learn as much as I could to see if being an artist, architect, interior designer or hmmm graphic designer? That is what I really wanted to be. I got into college and started my path to being a graphic designer. I worked on projects such as AOLTV (it was an internet television product), and various other projects within AOL such as AOL.com. I also worked on the Styleguide for AOL. One unexpected project, Live 8!, won an Emmy! I am now doing consulting work with Nclud.com .

Where is it going...

If you can answer this for me that would be great. :) I'm actually in the process of figuring it out myself. I love illustration and the internet. Playing around with all the new applications that have been coming out are amazing. I have been learning CSS and how to write code from scratch to drill it into my head so that I can understand how everything works which means no sleep for me. :D
